Our Commitments

Human Rights Statement

At TUVALO, we firmly believe that human rights are universal and should be upheld at all times. We acknowledge and support the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) by the United Nations, which is a cornerstone of international human rights law.

The UDHR sets out the fundamental rights and freedoms that are inherent to all human beings, regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender, religion, or any other status. These rights include the right to life, liberty, and security of person, freedom of thought, conscience, and religion, and the right to work and education.

TUVALO is committed to ensuring that all our operations, including our relationships with our employees, customers, and partners, are conducted in a manner that respects human rights. We are committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment that is free from discrimination, harassment, and any other form of human rights abuse.

We believe that upholding human rights is not just a moral obligation, but also a business imperative. By promoting and protecting human rights, we are creating a more just and equitable society, which ultimately leads to greater economic growth and sustainable development.

In conclusion, TUVALO is committed to upholding the principles of the UDHR and promoting human rights in all our operations. We will continue to work towards creating a more just and equitable world, where all individuals are treated with dignity and respect.

Climate Change Statement

As a responsible corporate citizen, Tuvalo is committed to taking action on climate change. We recognize the urgent need for immediate and coordinated efforts to address this global crisis, which is causing significant societal and ecological impacts. To limit these impacts, we support the goal of limiting the increase in global average temperature to well below 2°C above pre-industrial levels, and we understand that achieving this goal will require a substantial transition to carbon-neutral energy sources, adoption of more carbon-efficient food systems and land-use practices, and enhanced removal of CO2 from the atmosphere. We also recognize the need to prepare for and adapt to the adverse impacts of climate change in a strategic, efficient, and equitable manner, and we believe that doing so provides a pathway toward greater prosperity and well-being.
